We are a family-owned and operated campground and outdoor wedding venue located on the South Fork American River near Coloma, California: a tiny town with a big history. Back in 1848, gold was discovered less than a mile away and shortly after began the largest gold rush in history which put Coloma on the map. Although that particular glittering hype has largely settled, there are still treasures to be found here in the form of outdoor beauty, recreation, and "I DO's".

We are better known as EarthTrek Expeditions. Whitewater rafting was our specialty from 1977 until 2016 when we decided to partner with O.A.R.S., one of the most respected outfitters in the world, and hand over the operation of the rafting portion of our company. However, we began operating our own campground back in 1993, and over the last several decades our campground facilities have evolved into the focal point of our operation. It was only natural to begin hosting a unique and affordable style of weekend-long wedding celebrations designed for those who love camping and desire a comfortable place to tie the knot in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

Here in the Sierra Nevada foothills, summers are hot and dry, so for that reason we only offer spring and fall weddings.
