Beautiful River-side Venue

Exchange vows and celebrate along the banks of the American River. Away from it all yet still conveniently located not too far from Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area

Why Tie the Knot in Gold Country?

We firmly believe we are located in a little slice of heaven here in El Dorado County. Our outdoor venue is nestled in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills along the South Fork American River. Our region is famously coined as "Gold Country", and as the nickname implies, this is where the California Gold Rush began back in 1849. There is a lot of history to discover here, as well as plenty of natural beauty and outdoor recreation.

When planning your wedding celebration, you should first be considering a location that best fits your personality, vision, and expectations of your guests. Whether you are from the region and have always loved the American River, or you hail from further away and are looking for a beautiful location for an outdoor wedding, we hope that we have what you are looking for. We are located in a rural area, so some of the services you might expect in a more urban setting may not be as easily or closely available, but that is also what gives our region its unique charm.

Our venue is also centrally located to some of the most scenic destinations in California. If your guests are coming in from far away and wish to experience more of what Northern California has to offer either before or after the wedding, our region has the potential for many extended adventures. Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and the coast, Napa Valley and various other points of interest are all within a three hour drive from here. There are also plenty of local gems ranging from eclectic Gold Rush towns, award-winning wineries and breweries, Apple Hill, and endless local trails for hiking and biking. Sacramento International Airport is also about an hour's drive away from our location.
